I’m going to have to sound like a bit of a hippie here. When my ex partner, a photographer, and I moved to Mexico we had to set up a website that showcased both of our services, so not one name or the other, we needed another one.

So I started reading a bit about Mexican history, I loved it in Mexico, the flowers , the butterflies, the sun, the people, the energy. I knew that I’d be here for a while. While digging I came across the history behind the symbol for HU NAB KU, the galactic Butterfly. First of all the name, I mean come on, the Galactic Butterfy how beautiful.

I was taken, and when I read that those who wore this emblem stated their wish to live and act in harmony with the universe. Well I thought that’s my main objective in life, as well as creating and being a good mum and daughter. So HNK stands for HU NAB KU, but HU NAB KU studio would be too hippie, so it’s a story between me and me, and now you.
