Our brief was to inform and give a positive visual impression as genetic research and biotechnology are not always seen in a positive light by the public The helix was requested by the client. I built a simple 3d model then rendered it going off at an upward angle to reflect the positive aspect of their research work. The pay off I thought up together with the client who knew what he wanted to convey, which was learning and development.
